Officer, can I record this conversation?

Conversation with a Cop about Recording People

I've always been curious about the legalities of recording a police officer, or for that matter anybody else. So, while sitting in a starbucks next to some donut munching officers, I decided to turn Mr. iRiver on and ask a few questions...

Poor old frustrated me

I'm feeling a little depressed about the whole blogging and podcasting deal.

Two primary culprits for the depression/frustration:
  1. A lack of time to keep up with them (and all the needing maintenance, changes, emails, etc)
  2. I don't think it was a good idea to start the QuestCast.  I think the concept is cool and could really help people take steps towards their dreams...but I have a hunch that I'm not going to have time to really do this show, let alone promote it and really get into it.  Anybody out there want to take over?  What is it?  Well, go on over to www.thequestcast.com and see...

I don't get how people have time to create quality podcasts, create a cool blog/webpage for it, keep up on the fast developing changes and gadets, promote their show, and connect with their listeners and others in the podcasting community.  I mean, if its your FT or PT job you can do it, but otherwise...how?  Maybe its my being married and having a 3 year old as well...

Oh well, wah...I'll do what I can do, its really not that big of a fugging deal.

Seattle Podcasting Network April Meetup

I had a great time networking at the Seattle Podcaster's Meetup a few days ago. I only made it to the last half (thats the back of my head in the upper right corner, woohoo), but I still really need this king of geek and hobby fellowship -whether its an hour or three.

Thanks so much to Travis for organizing the meetups and to all others like Buzz Bruggeman for their support, networking and encouragement.

Mendozza --Band Interview from Hell's Kitchen in Tacoma

And now for something completely different. Check out this interview with Mendozza, a “heavy stoner-rock” band from Vancouver, BC. I like to stretch myself with new experiences –keep your mind open for some fun surprises!
Here are some pix of the evening.

Free at last?

As my previous Podcast (Bleeding Purple) has started to take a distinct flavor, I have decided to start a new podcast so that I can do whatever the heck I want --not giving a hoohoo about what my audience might think.

However, it will most likely be audio experimentations -musical, storytelling, or whatever other goofy, crazy, creative or fun things come to mind. Content related specifically to family and friends will be placed at another blog/podcast --zinniazoo.

Past Bleeding Purple shows that fall into this category would be:
